I can't work on Files Online for the next couple of weeks but I thought some might want to have the next version in its current state. It currently has at least two major bugs, but these are easy worked around if you read the following. Both of the bugs involve the compression feature. IF YOU DON'T USE COMPRESSION YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE ANY PROBLEMS.
1. When using compression you must create the file listing on the root level. Failure to do so will cause the file not to be compressed. Stuffit Deluxe will report the error and the original file will not be deleted.
2. The second error is more serious. When using compression, ONLY COMPRESS A FILE LISTING ONCE PER HERMES STARTUP (ie. restart Hermes before doing another listing). I'm not sure why yet, but running it a second time will lock up your computer once it is done compressing you file. You won't lose the documents but you will have to reboot.
